Hello everybody :D

Can helico_expert or someone please explain to me how exactly H. Pylori causes duodenitis?

More importantly, can H. Pylori colonize the duodenum? Or just the stomach?

Thank you!

H. pylori can colonise in the duodenal. However, they prefer else where where acid is less concentrated.

I see, thank you! Can the breath test report H. Pylori in the duodenum?

unfortunately no.
The breath test will tell you if you have H. pylori, it cannot tell you which specific part has H. pylori.

It is less important to know where is H. pylori because if you see one, there will be many and everywhere in the stomach.
