It's not clear to me after much reading if H Pylori can disrupt the balance of your gut flora. I've always been suspicious of gut imbalance and have many symptoms related to gut imbalance: viewtopic.php?f=33&t=205835

I'm H Pylori positive and I'm taking antibiotics now to eliminate it.

Also, after eradicating H Pylori, does your gut flora come back on its own? If not, what can I do to help it?

I think that's a very good question. First of all, all the microbiome studies are just scratching the surface. Second of all, the guts microbiome is changing everyday, which make it hard for scientist to understand.

However, based on a few studies, the majority of the people have their microbiome come back to normal within a month after the antibiotic treatment. A few people, less fortunate, upset their guts microbiome and developed IBS.
