GI said its GERD and chronic dyspepsia..he some how thinks its due to high levels of anxiety/ fearfulness/ stress/ depression

I bet it is what you are eating causing symptoms. I get almost no symptoms on a very bland strict diet of 4-5 foods, i dont even want to say what i eat here you'd be disgusted. Anyways it gets better over time, you need to let your stomach rest/heal completely. H pylori threw a nuclear bomb in your stomach, dont expect the damage to be gone after the nuclear bomb is gone, you need repair it for a while.

Unfortunately it's something we dont know why and how. But it can be controlled by PPI. Gradually, patients do feel better over time. Just dont know when.

You lost the enzymes to digest grains and other stuff just like me. I lost the maltose enzyme which is pretty much in everything except veggies and white meat, it happens with all inflammatory bowel diseases especially when the source was autoinmune ( h pylori ) but now since it is gone (autoinmune reaction) you should just wait for your system to heal without aggraviating it anymore. Well those are my thoughts and I got them from an expert on this field.

saw my GI doc for endoscopy a few days ago...did it without sedation
doc basically said esophagus, stomach and duodenum looks okay
gave me pics said he doesnt see cancer or ulcer
ruled out celiac
maybe mucosa a bit inflamed or inflamed skin too sensitive to acid as one of the pic skin looked very slightly bruised or inflammed
he took couple of biopsies from anturmn and duodenum....increased my dosage to Nexium 40mg twice daily
said not to miss Nexium
he also referred me to psychologist as he think symptoms are stress driven and i am in anxiety/ depression
maybe i am thinking about the non-ulcer dyspepsia he diagnosed too much or nerve damage...can it be fixed by antidepressants?
how long does non-ulcer dyspepsia take to go away...will it be lifelong or a few years??
yes photon i guess enzymes for some food groups are not working...is there any specific test to find out which food groups and which enzymes to add
i taking a bunch of stuff already and dont want to add digestive enzymes right now
already feel like an old man....sigh

no need for tests which ever foods cause you reflux, gerd it's indigestion if it burns it means your stomach is too sensitive and needs to build up.
40mg nexium x2 a day is very high. I hope it's only temporary. I don't know If I control these symptoms with diet alone I hope I dont have to take PPIs but If I have to do it to live I'll do it, I am trying to avoid them they can be bad in the long run.
Youll be ok just keep avoiding foods that aggraviate your stomach, once you do it for at least (without mistakes) for many months things slowly go back to normal. I know this because it happened to me. I recovered then I got re-infected and my system got worse again unable to digest anything now it's harder to heal because almost all foods aggraviate my stomach.

yes theres stomach burning between breastbone and navel....think the acidity builds up and intensifies...if i drink lots of water it seems acid gets diluted and burning pain reduces
i lost 30 pounds and eating mostly fruits veggies raw diet..no carbs or red meat
GI basically suggested the acidity is due to tension/ fear/stress and food plays a small role
i stopped smoking and am controlling diet.....is GERD curable?

this is a very hard question. Some people gets better as they aged. Some people has to rely on long term PPI to control the GERD. The truth is, we are not sure what causes GERD.
