Hello!

I had Helicobacter Pylori 4-5 month before my doc found it and we could get rid of it with the triple therapy.
It has been 1 and a half month now and my stumek still dont feel 100% like before kinda not at all... After the treatment my stumek sounded SO much and i had alot of burping but now I am not burping anymore and my stumek dont sounds as much as before but my stumek still sounds.

So my question for you ppl who had it is


1: I still have a small bubbling feelin in my throat why is that? what can it be? NOTE ITS NOT (acid reflux)

2:My stool dont look the same the color of it is like yellow/light brown and the stool in hard and comes out in pices

3: Can feel nauseous after eating or going to the toilet (happens sometimes not all the time)

4: can have small burning feeling time to time

Am i ever gona be back to normal? how long did it take untill you ppl recoverd and did you feel the same as me after the treatment?

So, have you actually follow up with your doctor to see that if you have your H. pylori eradicated?

Yeah did a stool test and the HP is gone. Im feeling alot better now then i did before when i had this bacteria but still some small stuff that i still not going back to normal like the color and form of my stool and the bubbiling feeling in my throat.

Did you get the diagnosis done recently?

I waited 1 and half month before doing a test again so did the test 1 week ago kinda and it came back negative

good to know you are free of H. pylori now. just check with your doctor again next time, make sure you are not infected with candida in your mouth.

So did an endoscopy yeasterday and clearly i still have Helico P so i quess the first treatment failed and the stool test showed wrong.... my first treatment was with Amoxicillin, Esomeprazol and Klaritromycin what could be good for a second treatmen if the first one fails ?

you should try double dose PPI + Amox + Metronidazole. if you have access to Bismuth, you can add that in your treatment to boost the treatment too.

So now i got 750mg amox 2xday for 14days and 500mg metronidazol 3xday for 10days and PPL 40mg 1xday for 14days. At first he wanted to give me the same antibiotics for he said metronidazol got a higer resitance rate in scandinavian then klacid but that we could try metronidazol and see how that goes. Is 40mg PPL 1xday enought u think? or should it be taken twice a day?

I think 20mg twice a day is better but that's just an opinion.
Also be aware metro is known for headache so do not panic if you get some, its normal
