Beginning triple therapy

I've been dealing with symptoms for over a year and a half and after an endoscopy, I now know I have h pylori that's causing gastritis.

I will begin the triple therapy this week.

Is there anything I can take to help the chances of eradicating the bug while on triple therapy?

I've read about probiotics, zinc carnosine, cranberry extract, but I'm not sure if anyone has any experience with this?

Also, should I be worried about a candida overgrowth from the antibiotics?

On some posting ,probiotics helps ease the side effects of the antibiotic course for some people.

I took Zinc L-carnosine during my last 2 therapy...did not seem to help much in terms of symptoms. Not tried cranberry extract, but if you are juicing them instead of getting it out from a carton/processed ...then perhaps it is better.

Candida occurs for certain people on the course, but does not for some...hence, I guess once you manage to get rid of the primary , then you can follow up and focus on the secondary.

I do not suggest into trying multiple medication during your therapy....Not even sure if it might create another 3rd course...so, if it was me...I would take them stage-by-stage.
Wish you all the best on the first course.

Anxiety, tiredness, depression often than not would kick in...but know that it is NOT abnormal, most people taking this have it.
Speedy recovery to you.

You can ask your doctor to add bismuth in your treatment. Bismuth will also help prevent C. diff complication.
