i was diagnosed with H.Pylori after telling my doctor that i have acid reflux and i went took the antibiotic triple treatment and it was successful in eradicating the acid reflux I took 1 stool test and 2 endoscopes one of the endoscopy tests was a DNA test for accurate results and all the results were NEGATIVE but i still have a sour taste in my mouth and acid reflux and i was told in both of my tests endoscopy test that i have mild gastritis .... IT feels like this acid reflux thing is pulling me back from my many potentials in life its really very depressing and stressful ... could the gastritis still be causing the acid reflux and if so what can i do to get rid of it i want to be able to breathe and think and relax like a normal human being (im only 22 years old) :(

I assume your doctor knows what he is doing and the result is accurate. In some patients, the acid reflux continue without H. pylori. Nobody knows why. We can only offer PPI to stop the acid reflux. It is important not to have too much acid reflux as the acid can damage your throat and corrode your teeth.

Hey Fredd77, how are you doing now? Are you still having the symptoms?
