Hello, I had my endoscopy today, everything looked good, no gastritis, no ulcers and no inflammation. A CLO test was performed which came back negative, they also took some biopsies which I have to wait a few weeks for :( how accurate is the CLO test? Can I let myself finally believe I'm hp negative??? Thank you :)

CLOtest is very sensitive and accurate. However, you can get false negative if your stomach is not acidic enough. It can happen when the patient is either too young or too old. It can also happen if the patient has been taking PPI.

The histology and and culture should reveal more results. Nevertheless, in your case, I would trust the CLOtest.
