Bad Reaction to Antibiotics, What Now?

I'm hoping that someone has had a similar experience or wisdom that they can share. I was diagnosed with H. Pylori and put on the PrevPak (PPI, clarithromycin and amoxicillan). After taking 4 of 28 prescribed doses I had body tremors and was told by my doctor to stop taking the medication. Following, I laid in bed for 8 days with severe nausea. I'm doing better now, but I still have H. Pylori. My doctor suggested changing my diet and was hopeful that I'd recover in a week. One week later and I've improved, but I'm still experiencing bloating and nausea (it's especially bad in the morning). What should I do next? I've heard there are other antibiotic treatments, but I am nervous about taking them because of my reaction to the PrevPak. I'm interested to hear if anyone has had a similar reaction and if they tried another antibiotic? I'd really like to feel better.
Thank you!

You can get a test to find out if you are allergic to amoxicillin. There is about 10% people allergic to amoxicillin. If you are not, then you can try PPI + Amoxicillin + Metronidazole combination. If you are allergic to amoxicillin, then you can try PPI + Clarithromycin + Metronidazole.

Please discuss this possibility with your GP.

ALOT of people have side effects with the Prepac/Hppac/quad pack.

I also had tremors, chest pain, diaria, extreme tired during the 7 days on the HP pac.plus the following 2 months were very unplesant.
Plus 2 months later = still NP Postive.

Chat with your Doc about trying another combo.
