				Hello,
I like to know if dairy products are a no go after eradication of H.P and if you can have developed lactose intolerance. It's been 4 months after H.P treatment and I feel much better! However when I drink milk my throat swallows. Is it possible that you develop lactose intolerance due to de H.P or the antibiotics?

Interesting idea. However, there is no guideline on what food you should avoid or take after the treatment. So you should be able to eat anything you want. However, I think it is possible that the antibiotics upset the microflora balance in your intestine. And when you drink milk, the excessive lactose were utilised differently by these microflora which then lead to lactose intolerence symptoms. Then again, I believe with the right balance diet, your microflora should slowly go back to normal.
Nevertheless, you can buy lactease tablet from pharmacy. They are enzyme that break down excessive lactose.
