I have struggled with this since a week before december stomach pain, reflux, heart palpitations in some cases and the few times I came with the ambulance without the docktors being able to explain me why and later i had stomach pain.

I was hospitalized in New Year's Eve, because I explained that I had blood in my stool and came out the next day and they ordered an endoscopy for me. After a few days (04-01-2013) I was finally seen in the stomach and they found this horrible bacteria HP that had overtaken stomach.
 
Now I have taken lansoprazole 30-mg, amoxicillin 1000-mg and clarithromycin 500-mg

I have no more reflux and abdominal pain, but I have fatigue, belching, constipation, cold even when I am inside and very hungry in the morning. Is these symptoms normal after treatment? How good are my chance that the bakterie is death? One the good signs I have is no more reflux.

Dear Geele,

I'm sorry to hear about your story. If you have taken your treatment correctly, there is a good chance (80'/,) your Hp will be eradicated after this treatment. But the only way to know is to get tested (urea breath test) 3 to 4 weeks after the end of your treatment to make sure you are negative. Sometimes, symptoms get worse during the treatment due to side effects from antibiotics or allergy to penicillin but everything should go back to normal once you finished. However, symptoms due to HP might take some time to disappear. Your stomach needs to recover from the gastritis. A healthy diet can help and lots of patience. Good luck

I just want to add that, according to what you have written, all your symptoms might not be just because of HP. Blood in stools for example might be from colitis which is not HP. So you might need to get this checked as well.

I am going to my doctor tomorrow to tell him about your advise, I hope he will help me.

Can endoscopy show if there is a problem with colitis? The endoscopy showed that I had not ulcer, but the stomach lining was pink and could bleed the doctor said also found h pylori, a few day before I saw some blod in my stool. It's now to weeks ago sins I stopped my treatment.

Only a colonoscopy can show colitis or other problems with stools but I'm sure a gastroenterologist will be able to help you with this matter. Keep us posted

I was at the doctor today and he odered a specialist to check me with coloscope and he also gave me the breathtest.

I will take the breathtest my selv early tomorow and send it to the hospital and I hope the Bacteria is gone.

also, i assume you stopped all acid reducing drug for at least 2 weeks.

I am glad to say that the breathtest came back negativ my freind. I have orderet a colonoskopy.

How long will it take the stomack to heal my freind?

congratulation! the healing is depending on the damage dealt. some people feel great straight away, and some people can take months before they feel any good. Anyway, just eat plenty of fruits.
