I was thinking why HP prevelance in Czech Republic is as low as 7%... Can it be becuase of beer... some say it contains Tetracycline... I have seen some in Vitro experiment with wein and pure alcohol... and it seems it works especcialy wein... Have anybody seen any works on that topic...

Most people acquire HP infection when they are children... Children are generally not allowed to drinking... So maybe it have some potetntail in eradication...

interesting idea. But a lot of beer is also consumed in other high prevalence countries, especially the developing countries. Alcohol consumption is not the reason for low infection rate. Then again, is beer in Czech Republic different from any other beer? contain tetracycline? i think if it is true, then H. pylori and other bacteria will gain resistant to tetracycline instead of being eradicated.

so why some countries have lower infection rate? hygiene? in developing country like Malaysia, Chinese and Indian have infection rate of 70-80% but the Malay is almost free from H. pylori. the food the Malay eat is also consumed by other ethnics group in the country. So, food is not the transmission route?

in Canada, Alaska region, the population density is very low and yet the infection rate is high. so population density doesnt affect the transmission?

I am so interesting in your post and I appreciate you idea very much, I hope it will come into reality.

So how long did it take you to get back to the norm?
