If you, and all the people living with you, look after your personal hygiene, especially brushing teeth every morning, then the chance of catching it back is very very low.
There are couples who were married for decades and never infect each other.

Okay, and thankfully I live in a clean family (I also have OCD and am a bit of a germaphobe, so there's lots of handwashing on my part)
another thing I need to mention is that I've been getting hungry all the time and at times to the point where I think my blood sugar drops (get shaky/weak in the arms and legs) even right after eating meals. I got tested for diabetes and thyroid issues but my tests came back normal. however, my neutrophils were elevated. (though my other WBCs were normal... does severe stress/anxiety elevate neutrophil levels?)
I searched around the forums and some people mentioned hunger issues with h pylori... should I be concerned? I never dealt with this when I had my infection, but just before an attack would occur, my blood sugar would suddenly drop. but only once and that was easily fixed if I ate something.
sorry, I'm just really panicked about this situation... I have a huge phobia of vomiting, and doing the treatment was just sheer hell for me.

As long as you are negative of H. pylori, then the risk of getting worse is reduced.
Your hunger can be because of thyroid.
Usually when people are cured from H. pylori, their stomach becomes healthier and appetites get better.
