The only symptom I have is burping.since July last year. But the anxiety is really getting me down and is affecting my quality of life. And the scary things I hear about long term use of PPI and antibiotics fill me with fear. I live in Melbourne, Australia. Can I be seen by your clinic? I just need to remove the uncertainty from my mind.

burping may not be due to H. pylori.
anxiety is also strongly associated with burping.
When you burp, can you feel the acid in your mouth? if you do, you probably need some PPI.
PPI is quite safe. long term user is referred to people who needs it for years or decades. It's more associated with osteoporosis (especially among women). more importantly is to get rid of H. pylori, then your risk of stomach cancer can be reduced.

I don't feel acid in my mouth just continuous burping and stomach noises. I have been diagnosed with HP twice within 6 months via breath tests and mild gastritis by way of an endoscopy. Can you live with gastritis or could it worsen?

while most people can be asymptomatic, I think it is better to get rid of it so you dont have to worry about it, or pass it to someone else.
