it's important to make sure your H. pylori is eradicated. However, you cannot do breath/stool test while having Nexium. You can switch Nexium to ranitidine. Ranitidine is fast acting but short life. So you can continue ranitidine until the night before breath/stool test.

breath/stool test rely on the bacterial load and acidic stomach to work. PPI like Nexium will give false negative result on both breath and stool test.

Hy there . I just started Nexium hp7 for last week but still I have difficult in swallowing . Is it very serious . I feel good in my stomach but I feel difficult to swallow bread , rice pasta . Is it because of acid reflux or anything serious on my throat.its my second week of Nexiumhp7

it's not normal side effect of HP7. I am not sure how severe is your difficulty of swallowing. But if the symptom persist or gotten worse, talk to your doctor about it.
