Me too. It seems to be baby steps to get through this thing but a little something gets better each day.

4 days of not even realizing I had gastritis. Ate somewhat bland, no trigger foods, had barely an ache in the world and then woke up today with major stomach distention, can’t eat anything, lump in throat, happens to me with gastritis when it’s bad. And majorly full despite not eaten since yesterday. Unexplainable reasons, before I knew triggers but the only trigger I can think of is maybe too big a portion for lunch yesterday, although it wasn’t big just a tad larger than other meals. I’m “regular” though as usual. No idea what is going on and as usual feeling hopeless to this disease.

Is it common in recovery to take some steps forward and then some back again? Like are flair ups part of the drill? Just feel satiated so quickly. Basically my only symptom! But it’s super uncomfortable all day.

I guess I should shut my mouth, it’s only been 38 days and roughly a few weeks since figuring it out and trying to dial in the diet correctly. I’m guessing the people it took that long were severe cases? We’re they acute?
