i assume you meant you are worried of false negative.

breath test is usually very accurate. However, depending on the breath test reading. if the cut off value is 50, and you get like 0-10, that's very likely to be a true negative. If you got a reading of around 40-49, then it's worrying.

nevertheless, I believe your doctor knows the principle. You can relax and focus on the recovery. If your symptoms persist after a month or two, you can consider another breath test.

lastly, you may want to get your family who lives under the same roof checked for H. pylori. That will prevent reinfection from close family members.
