Hi there, recently i had again endoscopy done along with biopsy. The result were as follows:
Histopathological findings: The section shows mild chronic inflammatory cell infiltration. Intestinal metaplasia and atrophic changes are not seen.
Impression: Mild Chronic Inactive Gastritis
                  Negatve for Helicobacter Pylori
                  Negative for dysplasia and malignancy
Now what idoes this inactive gastritis mean(how does it differ from active one)? As far as my symptoms are considered i feel far better than before.I feel much less bloated and nausea has also improved a lot. But still i have problem with digestion. My stool is not as before. Its like type 5 : soft blob with clear cut edges as mentioned on Bristol stool scale. And i burp quite a lot. What should i do to improve digestion or still this inactive gastritis is responsible for this? I heard stomach needs a lot of time to be restored propoerly.

That is great news. inactive gastritis just mean there are some inflammation still. in active gastritis, we'll see the lots of immune cells aggressively gathered together everywhere. So in your case, i think the party is over, the immune cells are progressively going away.
as for your digestion (stool) problem, I think it's more to do with your intestinal normal flora. Hopefully the right combination of bacteria will ultimately come back and give you back the life you want. Try some mint tea, it'll ease your stool problem (I hope).

Gluten causes 55 diseases (New England Journal of Medicine).
It's thought that 80% people have a genetic disposition to gluten intolerance on some level.
It sets the intestine on fire, in much the same way as H pylori sets the stomach on fire.
Thus, it can cause similar or the same symptoms as H pylori.
I've had clients with H pylori stop eating gluten and have zero symptoms in 3 days.
if mint tea doesnt help, maybe you can try avoid gluten food for a few days and see if that help. I dont recommend you try all different method in the same time. or else you wont be able to identify which method work best.

I tried this mint tea but this does not seem to help at all. Digestion is still weak. Sometimes i feel burning sensation in my stomach that usually lasts for 2-3 secs only. Does this mean still my gastritis is not over?? Pls Suggest.

since your endoscopy report says that you are negative for H. pylori, I think you need to give yourself some time to recover. have you tried some PPI to ease your problem?
