reinfection is very rare. unless people living with you has poor hygiene. eg. not brushing teeth and not washing hands after toilet.

if in doubt, you can always get a breath test done to double confirm your HP infection status.

It was a histology that was performed.

On my Results, it said “Microscopic Exam Performed. All controls were reviewed and showed appropriate positive and negative reactivity.”

It was done via microscope so I’m assuming histology test.

Got my endoscopy done last week and the results came back with moderate gastritis but no H. Pylori present!!! But I wanted to know, could probiotics (10 billion microflora) interfere with my biopsy I had done for my H. Pylori test???

I’ve been having a mild stitch in my back on the left side near the shoulder blades when swallowing. Sometimes the pain travels to my left side and to the upper left side of my stomach. Could that be related to the H. Pylori too?

I’m curious too, I was wondering since I took Metronidazole, Pantoprazole, Azithromycin and Amoxicillin in my first therapy, how come my doctor gave me Metronidazole, Clarithromycin, Pantoprazole and Amoxicillin in my second treatment?

Okay great to know. I’ve been experiencing some discomfort within my stomach since I’ve gotten done with my treatment. My stomach bubbles and then I hear the fizzing of the acid rising from time to time.
